DTEK’s thermal power plants (TPPs) have generated about 4.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity since early 2023.
The relevant statement was made by DTEK on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Despite the significant damage caused to equipment and regular attacks on thermal power plants, DTEK Energy continues to provide Ukrainians with electricity. Since the beginning of the year, the company’s TPPs have generated about 4.5 billion kilowatt-hours of electricity, which is equal to the average annual consumption of about 1.5 million households,” the report states.
In the face of Russian attacks, power engineers continue making every effort to maintain the sustainability of Ukraine’s energy system.
A reminder that, since October 10, 2022, Russia has been continuously launching attacks on power generating facilities across Ukraine.
