Government allocates more than UAH 47M for energy efficiency purposes
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has endorsed a decision to transfer more than UAH 47 million to the Ukrainian Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Ministry to implement a new government-funded energy efficiency program.
The relevant statement was made by Representative of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The budget allocations provided for the Ukrainian Energy Ministry in the state budget general fund for 2023 […], totaling UAH 47.845 million, were transferred to the Ukrainian Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Ministry for the Ukrainian State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving to implement a new government-funded program,” Melnychuk wrote.
This decision is intended to ensure the development and implementation of state policy regarding the effective use of fuel and energy resources, alternative liquid and solid fuels, as well as energy saving and energy efficiency.
