Ukrnafta pays almost UAH 1.2B in income tax in Q1 2023

PJSC Ukrnafta transferred UAH 1.187 billion of income tax to the state budget in the first quarter of 2023.

Ukrnafta Director Sergii Koretskyi said this in a Facebook post, Ukrinform reports.

"Ukrnafta transferred UAH 1.187 billion in income tax to the budget based on the results of the first quarter of 2023. This is a little less than 1% of the total revenues transferred to the state budget in 2023, which totaled UAH 152.2 billion," he said.

Koretskyi specified that the amount is almost twice as much as was paid over the entire previous year: the company transferred UAH 694 million in 2022.

"Currently, it is extremely important to follow fiscal discipline. Taxpayers' funds are transferred to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to support vulnerable groups, public education and health care," the company director added.

As reported, Ukrnafta’s net profit for the first quarter of 2023 came to UAH 4.3 billion, which is equal to the net profit the company received for the entire peaceful year of 2020 (UAH 4.3 billion).
