NBU sells $293M on interbank market in past week

Over the last week, the National Bank of Ukraine sold US$292.69 million on the interbank foreign exchange market, at the same time buying $15.05 million.

The report on forex interventions has been published on the central bank’s website, Ukrinform saw.

According to the report, on June 5-9, the National Bank of Ukraine, operating on the interbank foreign exchange market, sold $292.69 million and bought $15.05 million.

In total, since the start of 2023, the regulator has sold on the interbank market $11.04 billion and bought $146.04 million.

As reported, in 2022, the National Bank sold $26.38 billion and EUR 1.789 billion, and also bought $3.27 billion and EUR 110.97 million.
