United States to provide $1.3B in additional aid to Ukraine – Blinken

The United States will provide $1.3 billion of additional aid to Ukraine.

U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken said this in his speech at the international Ukraine Recovery Conference in London, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"With the support of the U.S. Congress, we will provide more than $1.3 billion in additional aid to help Ukraine toward that goal,” said Blinken.

He noted that $520 million will be directed to help Ukraine repair and modernize its energy grid.

Blinken added that he is confident that energy sector reforms will one day allow Ukraine to become one of the main energy exporters.
