Government allocates over ₴200 million for construction of Borodyanka Center rehabilitation facility
The Cabinet of Ministers allocated UAH 200 million 633.87 thousand to the Ministry of Veterans Affairs for the construction of the Borodyansky Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation.
The press service of the Ministry of Veterans reported this, according to Ukrinform.
"The Borodyanka Center is a flagship project of the Ministry of Veterans, which is being actively constructed with the support of the ministry's partners. It will replace the Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of the population in the urban-type settlement of Borodyanka, the Kyiv region, that was destroyed by a tank hit by the Russian occupiers," said Laputina Yuliia, Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine.
She noted that the facility will provide comprehensive psychosocial recovery services not only to war veterans and their families, but also to affected civilians.
As Ukrinform reported, in August last year, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs began rebuilding the rehabilitation center in Borodyanka that was destroyed by the invaders and plans to create a scientific and practical mental health center in its place.
