Government allocates subvention to rebuild 13 medical facilities
In Ukraine, 13 medical facilities in eight regions most affected by the Russian invasion will be rebuilt or repaired at the expense of state budget funds.
Ukrinform reports this with reference to the communications department at the Ministry of Health.
The government allocated over UAH 6.6 billion for reconstruction projects from the fund for liquidation of the consequences of the Russian armed aggression. In particular, these are schools, kindergartens, medical institutions, residential buildings, construction and reconstruction of water mains and sewage systems, heating networks, drilling of artesian wells, etc.
Part of the funds will be directed to the reconstruction and repair of 13 medical facilities of various profiles in the regions most affected by the war and in the regions flooded after the Kakhovka HPP dam explosion.
The healthcare infrastructure facilities include primary healthcare centers (PHC), regional and clinical hospitals - seven in Kharkiv region, two in Zhytomyr region, three in Mykolaiv region, and one in Odesa region.
As reported by Ukrinform, the Russian army has damaged or destroyed 1,554 medical facilities across Ukraine since the start of the full-scale invasion. I
