Zelensky introduces sanctions against 18 legal entities registered in Cyprus, Moscow and Luxembourg
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine (NSDC) to impose sanctions against 18 legal entities registered in Cyprus, Moscow and Luxembourg.
Relevant decree No.371/2023 "On the decision of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine dated July 5, 2023 ‘On the application of personal special economic and other restrictive measures (sanctions),” was published on the president’s website, Ukrinform reports.
The NSDC secretary has been tasked with monitoring the decision’s implementation.
The decree enters into force from the day of its publication.
Sanctions against these legal entities have been imposed for 10 years.
As reported by Ukrinform, on July 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky enacted the NSDC decision to impose sanctions against more than 190 individuals and 291 legal entities, including Georgian Airways, which resumed flights to Russia.
