Ukrainian food exports are a key factor in the stability of food markets. Hence, together with partners, Ukraine is working to guarantee food security.
The relevant statement was made by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky in his video address, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Ukrainian food exports are a key factor in the stability of food markets. And we work with all our partners both in the region and in the world in general to guarantee food security,” the Head of State said.
On August 5, 2023, a meeting of advisors to the heads of state and foreign diplomatic officials regarding the Ukrainian Peace Formula will start in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. According to Zelensky, many countries and different continents will be represented at this meeting, including the Global South.
“It is very important because in such matters as food security, the fate of millions of people in Africa, Asia, and other parts of the world directly depends on how fast the world will be in implementing the Peace Formula,” the President of Ukraine stressed.
President Zelensky expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia for this platform for negotiations.
