Kuleba discusses grain exports with Arab League Secretary-General
Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba discussed the resumption of grain exports from Ukrainian ports and the upcoming meeting of the UN General Assembly with Secretary-General of the League of Arab States Ahmed Aboul Gheit.
“During our call, Arab League Secretary-General Ahmed Aboul Gheit and I emphasized the importance of resuming grain exports from Ukrainian Black Sea seaports in order to ensure global food security. We also focused on the upcoming UN General Assembly's high-level week,” Kuleba posted on X (formerly known as Twitter).
As reported, on August 10, 2023, Ukraine announced new temporary routes for merchant ships going to/from the Black Sea ports of Ukraine, but an armed threat and mine danger from the Russian Federation remains throughout all routes there.
