Minister of Energy of Ukraine German Galushchenko discussed the restoration of Ukraine’s energy system with Laura Lochman, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary at the Bureau of Energy Resources of the U.S. Department of State.

"Galushchenko informed [Lochman] about the restoration works on the Ukrainian energy infrastructure objects, which suffered from massive Russian attacks during the previous heating season, and pointed out the measures being taken to prepare the energy sector for the next winter," the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine reports.

During the meeting, Galushchenko and Lochman discussed possible U.S. support for the program to increase the domestic production of transformers in Ukraine.
