Twenty-two damaged objects under renovation in Kharkiv region
Twenty-two objects damaged by Russian attacks are now under renovation in the Kharkiv district.
The relevant statement was made by Director of the Urban Development and Architecture Department at Kharkiv Regional Military Administration Anton Korotovskykh and Kharkiv District Military Administration Deputy Head Volodymyr Usov, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
According to Usov, apartment blocks, health facilities and an administrative building are now being restored in the Kharkiv district through funding from the Fund for the Liquidation of Consequences of Armed Aggression and the local budget.
“Seventeen apartment blocks are under renovation in Derhachi. We are planning to finish works this autumn. Major maintenance works are underway in outpatient departments in such settlements as Lisne, Ruska Lozova and Velyki Prokhody – their completion rate is 30-35%. Additionally, relevant works have started to rebuild a primary care center in Derhachi and an administrative building in Ruska Lozova,” Usov told.
This year regional authorities are also planning to start renovation works in one apartment block in Dokuchaievske and one in Rohan.
Korotovskykh mentioned that about 22,000 cases of damage and destruction had been recorded in the Kharkiv district. This amount is not final, as the number of damaged and destroyed objects is increasing on a daily basis.
The list of damaged and destroyed immovable property items includes 13,163 detached houses, about 3,000 apartment blocks, 549 educational and sports facilities, 157 health facilities, etc.
