Ukraine exports 8.02M tonnes of grain, leguminous crops
In the marketing year 2023/2024, between July 1, 2023 and October 20, 2023, Ukraine already exported 8.02 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
In particular, this marketing year Ukraine has already exported 4.069 million tonnes of wheat, 656 thousand tonnes of barley, 0.8 thousand tonnes of rye, and 3.175 million tonnes of corn.
By comparison, between July 1 and October 21 in the marketing year 2022/2023, Ukraine exported 11.526 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, namely 4.363 million tonnes of wheat, 950 thousand tonnes of barley, 6.2 thousand tonnes of rye, and 6.17 million tonnes of corn.
Over the first 20 days of October 2023, Ukraine has exported 1.267 million tonnes of grain and leguminous crops (compared to 2.834 million tonnes during the same period last year). The export deliveries consisted of 735 thousand tonnes of wheat, 34 thousand tonnes of barley, and 490 thousand tonnes of corn. There has been no rye in Ukraine’s exports this October, while last year’s export deliveries contained 1.9 thousand tonnes of rye during that period.
A total of 40.3 thousand tonnes of flour has already been exported by Ukrainian producers this marketing year. By comparison, Ukraine’s flour exports reached 32.1 thousand tonnes between July 1 and October 21 in the marketing year 2022/2023.
