Tariffs during heating season remain unchanged - Shmyhal

Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal said that tariffs for the heating season remain unchanged.

Shmyhal said this during a government meeting, according to Ukrinform.

"The heating season has begun. More and more cities are gradually being connected to the heating system. First of all, local authorities should turn on the heating in schools, hospitals, kindergartens and other social infrastructure facilities," Shmyhal said.

According to him, there is no shortage in the energy system now. There are no blackouts or schedules in place. "But we understand that the enemy can accumulate missiles for massive strikes, so we continue to prepare," Shmyhal said.

"Tariffs for the heating season remain unchanged. Subsidies are extended automatically. Anyone who received a subsidy in September does not need to submit a new application for the heating season. The Pension Fund will recalculate everything. We will support every family that now needs help to pay for housing and communal services," the Prime Minister emphasized.

As reported, the Pension Fund recalled the conditions for calculating subsidies for the heating season of 2023-2024.
