Polish protesters unblock border crossing for Ukrainian freight carriers at Medica checkpoint

In Poland, the movement of Ukrainian trucks on the road leading to the checkpoint Medica-Shehyni has been resumed.

The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reported this via Telegram, Ukrinform saw.

"According to the information received from the Border Guard Service of the Republic of Poland, today at 21:00 the protest action ended outside the Medica-Shehyni checkpoint. Border control procedures toward Ukraine are run as usual," the agency noted.

As of this moment, 650 trucks are queued up to cross into Ukraine at the said checkpoint, border guards add.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, the Polish government agreed with farmers to indefinitely suspend the protest action on the motorway outside the Medica-Shehyni checkpoint.
