Deposit Guarantee Fund selling banks’ assets worth UAH 4.7B

The Deposit Guarantee Fund of Ukraine has put up for sale the assets of insolvent banks for a total sum of UAH 4.7 billion.

That’s according to the press service of the Deposit Guarantee Fund, Ukrinform reports.

"This week (January 22-26), the assets of ten banks being liquidated by the Deposit Guarantee Fund will be sold via Prozorro.Sale. The initial sale price of all lots is UAH 4,666.3 million," the statement says.

Of this amount, rights to claims on loans are put up for sale for UAH 4,318.3 million, immovable property, land plots and other fixed assets of banks - for UAH 343.7 million. In addition, accounts receivable to banks are put up for sale for UAH 4.3 million.

As reported, banks managed by the Deposit Guarantee Fund received UAH 7.175 billion in 2023.
