Nearly 11,000 entrepreneurs received affordable loans since year-start
Since the beginning of 2024, nearly 10,900 entrepreneurs in Ukraine have received loans for a total sum of UAH 42.6 billion under the state program “Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%”.
This was reported by the Finance Ministry’s press service, according to Ukrinform.
"Over the past week, entrepreneurs received 452 affordable loans worth UAH 1.3 billion from authorized banks under the state program ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’, including 361 loans worth UAH 0.9 billion from public sector banks. Since the beginning of 2024, entrepreneurs have received 10,986 loans worth UAH 42.6 billion under the program, including 8,185 loans worth UAH 21.6 billion from public sector banks," the statement said.
Since the martial law was introduced in Ukraine, 55,128 loans worth UAH 219.9 billion have been issued (including 41,219 loans worth UAH 112 billion by public sector banks), of which, as of June 10: UAH 19.48 billion worth of loans for investment purposes, UAH 61.57 billion - for working capital financing, UAH 38.56 billion - for agricultural producers, UAH 16.06 billion - for agricultural processing, UAH 57.36 billion - for anti-war purposes, and UAH 13.54 billion - for loans in the high war risk areas.
Since the program was launched, 89,950 loan agreements worth UAH 309.5 billion have been signed, including 61,695 agreements worth UAH 138.6 billion by public sector banks.
As reported, the state program Affordable Loans at 5-7-9% is implemented by the Entrepreneurship Development Fund (EDF). The only participant is the Government of Ukraine, represented by the Ministry of Finance.
