UAH 1.4 billion has already been allocated to residents of Donetsk region under eRecovery programme
In Donetsk region, the owners of destroyed and damaged housing have already been allocated UAH 1.4 billion under the eRestoration programme.
This was reported by the Donetsk Regional Military Administration on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"UAH 1.4 billion is the amount of money the state has already allocated to residents of Donetsk Region under the eRecovery programme. Of this amount, UAH 1 billion is intended for owners of destroyed housing, and UAH 413 million for owners of damaged housing," the statement said.
It is noted that in just the first eight years of the war in Donetsk region, Russians damaged or destroyed 14,656 houses, and since the beginning of the full-scale invasion - 44,175.
"Unfortunately, it is impossible to find the resources to compensate everyone at once, but work in this direction continues. Of the 8,176 residents of Donetsk Region who have applied for compensation for damaged homes, 5,215 have already received a positive decision. Of the 1,143 owners of destroyed housing, 630 have already received a positive decision," the regional administration stated.
As reported, the eRestoration programme was launched on 10 May 2023. Every citizen whose housing was damaged as a result of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation can apply for state aid for its current repair. This can be done through the Diia portal or by contacting administrative service centres, social security authorities and notaries.
Later, the second phase of the state programme "eRestoration" was launched - owners of destroyed housing can apply for compensation to purchase a new apartment or house using the Diia app.
