Scheduled blackouts across Ukraine cancelled until 15:00

The national power grid operator Ukrenergo has revised electricity consumption caps set up for Tuesday.

That’s according to the company press service, Ukrinform reports.

On Tuesday, June 18, hourly power outage schedules will apply only from 15:00 to midnight, the update reads.

Therefore the earlier scheduled outages have been recalled from 10:00 to 15:00.

It is noted that the reason is the active operation of solar power plants. From 15:00 to 24:00, consumption will be limited in line with the caps set up by regional electricity distributors.

As reported, rolling blackouts were initially scheduled across Ukraine throughout the entire day on Tuesday.
