Ukraine to receive EUR 1.9B within Ukraine Facility program this month – PM

Ukraine has attracted $11.8 billion of external financing since the beginning of the year, with EUR 1.9 billion due to be received within the Ukraine Facility program this month.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this at a government meeting on Tuesday, Ukrinform reports, citing his Telegram channel.

"We are strengthening the financial resilience of the state. We are working to attract funds from partners. This month, we expect to receive EUR 1.9 billion within the Ukraine Facility program. After the approval by the IMF Executive Board of the fourth review of the Extended Fund Facility, we expect another $2.2 billion," Shmyhal said.

He added that since the beginning of the year, Ukraine has already attracted $11.8 billion in external financing.

"We expect further support to be predictable and stable," he said.
