Nowadays, Ukraine imports almost 28 thousand MWh of electricity

As of June 19, the planned volume of electricity imports to Ukraine is 27,979 thousand MWh, and no exports will be carried out.

NPC Ukrenergo reported this on its Facebook page, Ukrinform reports.

"Import: during the day from Romania, Slovakia, Poland, Hungary, Moldova. The total volume is 27,979 MWh, with a maximum capacity of up to 1,557 MW in some hours. Exports: not carried out and not expected," the statement said.

Ukrenergo also noted that on June 19, regional power distribution companies throughout Ukraine will use hourly blackout schedules from 00:00 to 24:00.

As reported, a Russian attack on the night of June 19 damaged one of the energy facilities in the central region.
