Finance Ministry places domestic government bonds for more than UAH 9.4B
On July 2, 2024, Ukraine’s Ministry of Finance raised UAH 9.409 billion to the state budget at an auction for the placement of domestic government bonds.
The ministry’s press service said this in a post on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
"Today, the Ministry of Finance placed bonds worth more than UAH 9.4 billion," the post reads.
It is noted that the Ministry of Finance offered investors hryvnia-denominated domestic government bonds: UAH 3.479 billion at 14.72% with 1-year maturity; UAH 4.041 billion at 15.36% with 2-year maturity, UAH 1.889 billion at 16.8% with 3.6-year maturity.
As reported, on June 25, 2024, the Ministry of Finance raised UAH 15.125 billion to the state budget at an auction for the placement of domestic government bonds.
According to the National Bank of Ukraine, in January-June 2024, the government raised more than UAH 251 million in equivalent from the placement of domestic government bonds at auctions. In total, more than UAH 1,069 billion in equivalent was raised during martial law.
