Zhytomyr region’s entrepreneurs obtain over UAH 9B under Affordable Loans program
Small and medium-sized enterprises in the Zhytomyr region have obtained more than UAH 9 billion in loan funds since the government program ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’ was launched.
The relevant statement was made by Zhytomyr Regional Military Administration in a commentary to Ukrinform.
“The Zhytomyr region’s businesses benefit from a number of government-funded programs. One of the main programs for small and medium-sized enterprises is ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’. Since it was launched, 3,284 loan agreements have been signed, totaling more than UAH 9 billion. In 2024, a total of 460 loan agreements worth UAH 1.5 billion were signed, including 106 agreements worth UAH 485.5 million by agricultural producers. In the region, there are 24 institutions acting as partner banks under the government program ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’,” the report states.
As part of the eRobota government-funded project, a total of 687 grant recipients received more than UAH 227 million in government assistance.
Meanwhile, five economic entities were provided UAH 924.2 thousand in partial compensation for the purchased domestically-produced agricultural machinery and equipment.
Additionally, in accordance with Resolution No. 1597 (as revised) of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine ‘On the Approval of the Rules of Providing Long-Term Loans to Housing Developers in Rural Areas’, five families received preferential loans worth UAH 900 thousand in the Zhytomyr region.
A reminder that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine endorsed a resolution expanding the scope of the government program ‘Affordable Loans at 5-7-9%’ to promote decentralized energy generation.
