Ukrnafta begins to drill new oil well in western Ukraine

Ukrnafta PJSC has started to drill a new exploratory oil well in western Ukraine.

The relevant statement was made by the company’s press service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Drilling works are being carried out with the company’s own rig by the structural unit, Ukrnafta Burinnia. The projected depth is 2,754 meters,” the report states.

The daily production rate of the new well is expected to reach 16 tonnes of oil.

A reminder that Ukrnafta PJSC started preparations to drill two oil wells with a total production rate of more than 100 tonnes per day.
