Ukraine's PM visits Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant
Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant (ZAZ) plans to produce more than 160 buses this year.
Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said this in a post on Telegram after visiting the plant, Ukrinform reports.
"We visited Zaporizhzhia Automobile Building Plant that produces Ukrainian school and suburban [buses] of European quality. Despite Russian terror, the company plans to produce more than 160 buses this year," he wrote.
Shmyhal stressed that support for the Ukrainian manufacturer is a key element of Ukraine's economic resilience. He recalled that the government allocated UAH 1 billion in June 2024 for the purchase of school buses.
"I talked with the employees. I thanked them for their perseverance and courage," he added.
