China plans to increase grain imports from Ukraine
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said at a meeting with Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba in Guangzhou that China intends to increase grain imports from Ukraine and jointly support international food security.

"In recent years, China has been the largest trading partner of Ukraine and the largest importer of Ukrainian agricultural products," Wang said.

According to the foreign minister, in the first half of 2024, the volume of trade between China and Ukraine showed rapid growth. He added that the two nations should make full use of mechanisms to strengthen practical cooperation in various fields.
"China will continue to increase grain imports from Ukraine and jointly support uninterrupted logistics channels and international food security," said the top Chinese diplomat.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on Wednesday, July 24, Kuleba met with his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Guangzhou as part of his visit to China.
