Japan supplies Ukraine with new batch of excavators
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has provided four modern Komatsu PC 210 hydraulic excavators to Ukraine's State Agency for the Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries and Food Programs as part of an international technical assistance project.
The Ukrainian agency's press service announced this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
The equipment will be used in the Rivne region in the operation of drainage systems, preventing the aftermath of floods, cleaning melioration channels, etc.
These excavators boast improved operational characteristics that help significantly increase the volume of work performed and reduce hourly fuel consumption. The equipment helps reduce the impact on the environment and promotes resource efficiency.
The State Agency for the Development of Land Reclamation, Fisheries and Food Programs thanked the people of Japan for the provided technical assistance that will contribute to the development of reclamation infrastructure and agriculture in Ukraine.
