Ukraine already exports 3.4M tonnes of grain, leguminous crops

Since the beginning of the marketing year 2024/2025, Ukraine has exported 3,440 thousand tonnes of grain and leguminous crops, which is 1,280 thousand tonnes higher compared to the same period last season.

The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Agrarian Policy and Food Ministry, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, this marketing year Ukraine has already exported 1,438 thousand tonnes of wheat, 477 thousand tonnes of barley, 0.3 thousand tonnes of rye, and 1,511 thousand tonnes of corn.

Additionally, Ukraine shipped 3,446 thousand tonnes of flour made from wheat and other cereals, which is 1,273 thousand tonnes lower compare to the same period last marketing year.

A reminder that Ukraine is expected to harvest about 27 million tonnes of early grain crops in 2024. According to the preliminary estimates, this marketing year Ukraine’s export potential is likely to reach 40-43 million tonnes.
