Ukraine’s SkyUp launching scheduled flights from Chișinău next spring

From April 2025, Ukraine’s SkyUp Airlines will launch scheduled flights from Chișinău Airport.

The relevant statement was made by the airline’s press service, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“SkyUp Airlines has announced the launch of its direct regular flight program from Chișinău to some of the most popular European destinations among Ukrainians. The selected routes include Spain, Portugal, France, Greece, and Cyprus,” the report states.

The first flights will start as soon as next April, and the tickets will become available from December 11, 2024.

Chișinău Airport was selected by the airline as one of the closest international hubs near the Ukrainian border, which makes it a practical and reliable choice for organizing international routes.

A reminder that earlier SkyUp Airlines obtained a Foreign Air Operator Certificate (FAOC), allowing the airline to provide ACMI services and operate flights in Canada’s airspace.
