
Ukraine exports 5.4M t of agricultural products in March
In March 2025, Ukraine exported 5.4 million tonnes of agricultural products, marking a 9.8% increase compared to February.
This growth was reported by the Ukrainian Agribusiness Club (UCAB), according to Ukrinform.
"All groups of goods showed growth compared to the previous month, with the most significant increase seen in oilseed processing products - exports of oilcake and oil rose by 42% and 29%, respectively," UCAB highlighted.
The export of grains reached 3.6 million tonnes, showing a 5% rise from February 2025. Corn accounted for 66% of the total, wheat for 31%, and barley for 2%.
Ukraine also boosted oilseed exports, totaling 433.6 thousand tonnes—an increase of 4% month-on-month. Soybeans comprised 85%, rapeseed 7%, and sunflower seeds 6%.
Vegetable oil exports surged by 29%, with 495.6 thousand tonnes shipped. Sunflower oil dominated at 89%, while soybean oil represented 11%.
Oilcake exports reached 493.5 thousand tonnes, up 11% from February, with sunflower oilcake constituting 70% and soybean oilcake 30%.
Other types of agricultural products also saw an 11% increase, amounting to 363.2 thousand tonnes.
As earlier reported, over the past five years, Ukraine has significantly expanded agricultural seed exports, particularly grains and oilseeds, multiplying them sixfold while simultaneously reducing imports.
