CEC to hold second round of mayoral elections in 14 cities
Repeat voting in mayoral elections in Ukraine will be held in 14 territorial communities with more than 75,000 voters, according to the website of the Central Election Commission (CEC).
"Repeat voting in the mayoral election has been scheduled in 14 territorial communities with more than 75,000 voters in 11 regions of Ukraine," the CEC said.
On November 15, such repeat voting will take place in Volyn region (Lutsk), Donetsk region (Kramatorsk), Odesa region (Odesa), Sumy region (Sumy) and Khmelnytskyi region (Kamianets-Podilskyi).
On November 22, such a vote will take place in Dnipropetrovsk region (Dnipro and Kryvyi Rih), Donetsk region (Sloviansk), Zakarpattia region (Uzhgorod), Kyiv region (Brovary), Lviv region (Drohobych and Lviv), Poltava region (Poltava), and Rivne region (Rivne).
The second round of the mayoral election will also be held on November 15 in Ukrainka, Kyiv region (a territorial community with up to 75,000 voters). According to the report, such a decision was made due to the fact that two candidates received the same number of votes in the October 25 election.
Local elections in Ukraine were held on October 25.
