Update on helicopter crash in Brovary: 14 bodies of victims found at site
Fourteen bodies of victims have been found at the site of a helicopter crash in the Kyiv region’s Brovary.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian State Emergency Service on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“As of 03:00 p.m., according to the updated information, following identification procedures, fourteen people were found killed at the site, including one child and nine bodies of those who had been on board. Twenty-five persons, including 11 children, were injured and taken to hospital (information is yet to be updated),” the report states.
Search and rescue operations continue.
A reminder that, on January 18, 2023, a helicopter crashed near a kindergarten and residential building in the Kyiv region’s Brovary. Ukrainian Internal Affairs Minister Denys Monastyrskyi, First Deputy Minister Yevhenii Yenin and State Secretary of the Ukrainian Internal Affairs Ministry Yurii Lubkovych were among those killed.
Earlier, the death toll numbers varied from 15 to 18 victims.
