One person has been killed in an explosion on the territory of a former plant in Kyiv's Darnytskyi district.

According to Ukrinform, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app.

"According to preliminary information, one person was killed in an explosion on the territory of a former plant in the Darnytskyi district of the capital," Klitschko said.
