35 buildings remain flooded in Mykolaiv region
In Mykolaiv region, 35 buildings remain flooded after the Russian forces blew up the Kahkovka HPP dam.
According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.
"As of 08:00 on June 17, 35 buildings, as well as gardens, wells, and basements on the territories of private households remain flooded in Bashtanka district," the report says.
An operational headquarters is working in the city of Snhurivka to eliminate the consequences.
Since the start of the operation, rescuers have evacuated 154 people, including seven children, from the village of Afanasiivka and eight people from the village of Novovasylivka.
In total, 1,780 cubic meters have already been pumped out of 109 households.
As reported by Ukrinform, after the Kakhovka dam destruction, 28 settlements remain flooded in Kherson region, 17 of them are in the temporarily occupied territory.
