10 hectares of wheat field burned down near Odesa

A field of wheat caught fire near the village of Velykyi Dalnyk. The fire spread to almost 10 hectares.

The State Emergency Service of the Odesa region reported on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

On July 17, a field of wheat caught fire outside the village of Velykyi Dalnyk in the Odesa district. Due to wind gusts, the fire spread rapidly.

"About 10 hectares of a wheat field were destroyed in the Odesa region," the statement said.

It is noted that it took rescuers two hours to put out the fire and minimize the consequences of the destruction of the entire field of more than 30 hectares.

As reported, a fire at a landfill in the village of Luhove, in the Mykolaiv region, that lasted almost two days, was extinguished.
