Poroshenko ratifies agreement between Ukraine, Malaysia on extradition of criminals

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law “On ratification of the Agreement between Ukraine and the Government of Malaysia on the extradition of criminals,” approved by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on February 22, 2017.

This was reported by the president’s press service on Friday.

According to the document, Ukraine and Malaysia upon request and in line with own domestic legislation are to extradite each other the individuals who are on a wanted list by the other party for the purpose of bringing them to criminal responsibility or for enforcing their sentence.
