President signs law on right to get higher education for persons whose place of residence is temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine
President Petro Poroshenko has signed the Law of Ukraine "On Amending the Law of Ukraine "On Higher Education" on ensuring the right to receive higher education for persons whose place of residence is the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine" that was adopted by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on May 16.
This has been reported by the press service of the Head of State.
The law is aimed at improving the mechanism of legal regulation of social and legal relations that arise during the realization of the right to education for persons whose place of residence is the temporarily occupied territory of Ukraine, the creation of additional opportunities for such persons regarding admission to higher education.
