President dismisses deputy head of Foreign Intelligence Service

President Petro Poroshenko has dismissed Volodymyr Synkevych as deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.  

The corresponding decree, No. 378, was signed by the president on November 20, the president’s press service reports.

"To dismiss Volodymyr Synkevych from the post of deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine," reads the document.

Reasons for dismissal have not been specified.

As Ukrinform earlier reported, on September 13, 2017, President Poroshenko appointed Yehor Bozhok as head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.

On October 17, President Poroshenko dismissed Ihor Razinkov as first deputy head of the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine.
