Speaker Parubiy to visit Lithuania on May 2-4

Verkhovna Rada Speaker Andriy Parubiy will pay a visit to the Republic of Lithuania on May 2-4 to take part in solemn events on the occasion of the 227th anniversary of the signing of the Constitution of May 3, 1791.

"During the visit to the Republic of Lithuania on May 2-4, 2018, Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Andriy Parubiy will take part in the ceremonial meeting of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania. After the solemn meeting, a general press conference will be held by Speaker of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Viktoras Pranckietis, Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Andriy Parubiy, Deputy Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland Beata Mazurek and Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Andrius Kubilius," the press service of the parliament reported.

The speaker of the Ukrainian parliament will take part in the ceremony of raising the national flags of the Republic of Lithuania, the Republic of Poland and Ukraine on Independence Square.
