Marchenko appointed as deputy head of Presidential Administration
Serhiy Marchenko has been appointed to the post of deputy head of the Presidential Administration.
The relevant decree was posted on the president’s official website on August 31.
"I received a proposal to work at the Presidential Administration, and I accepted it. I will implement the course of reforms of the President of Ukraine. The block of issues of Dmytro Shymkiv, namely reforms, will be added to my duties. Also, I will be responsible for the economic block at the Presidential Administration. These are issues that I know well and have good experience of working in the government, government team and I will work in the team of the President of Ukraine," said Marchenko.
Earlier, President Petro Poroshenko dismissed Dmytro Shymkiv as deputy head of the Presidential Administration. According to Shymkiv, he decided the leave the post and return to business, as he had fulfilled his tasks as deputy head of the Presidential Administration.
