Tymoshenko denies cooperation with Medvedchuk

Batkivshchyna Party leader Yulia Tymoshenko has said that she has never worked with NGO Ukrainian Choice leader Viktor Medvedchuk.

She said this at a press conference on Friday, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.

"I have never worked and will not work with Medvedchuk," the politician said.

Earlier, Ukraine's third president Viktor Yushchenko said in an interview with the Ukrayinska Pravda online news site that Tymoshenko in 2005 proposed that he appoint Medvedchuk as Ukraine's deputy prime minister.
