Stoltenberg invites Zelensky to visit NATO Headquarters

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg held a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky and invited him to visit NATO Headquarters.

“I just spoke with Ukraine’s President-elect Volodymyr Zelensky. I congratulated him on his victory and invited him to visit NATO HQ in the near future. NATO will continue to provide strong political and practical support to Ukraine,” Stoltenberg wrote on Twitter.

On Tuesday, President of the European Council Donald Tusk also held a telephone conversation with Volodymyr Zelensky and announced a meeting with him at the EU-Ukraine summit in July.

As reported, the second round of Ukraine’s presidential elections was held on April 21. According to the results of the Central Election Commission’s processing of 100% of electronic protocols, Volodymyr Zelensky won the presidential elections as he garnered 73.22% of the vote. 24.45% of Ukrainians cast their votes for incumbent President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko.

A total of 18,491,840 Ukrainians took part in the voting.
