Government approves appointment of five regional governors

The Cabinet of Ministers has approved the appointment of new heads of Kyiv, Kirovohrad, Luhansk, Kharkiv and Chernihiv Regional State Administrations.

The government made relevant decisions at its meeting on October 20, according to the Government portal.

Thus, the Cabinet of Ministers agreed to appoint Oleksiy Chernyshov as chairman of Kyiv Regional State Administration, Andriy Balon as chairman of Kirovohrad Regional State Administration, Serhiy Haidai as chairman of Luhansk Regional State Administration, Oleksiy Kucher as chairman of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, and Andriy Prokopenko as chairman of Chernihiv Regional State Administration.
