Zelensky hopes those guilty of Sheremet's, Handziuk's murder will be punished
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said he hopes that the high-profile killings of journalist Pavlo Sheremet, Kherson mayor's adviser Kateryna Handziuk and other public activists will be properly investigated and that the perpetrators will be punished.

"I believe that investigations into high-profile corruption cases, as well as the high-profile killings of Pavlo Sheremet, Kateryna Handziuk and other public activists, will be properly investigated and all the perpetrators will be punished," Zelensky said.
He said that Ukraine is currently seeing a clean-up at the Prosecutor General's Office, reform of the Security Service and pointed to the full independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office, and the State Bureau of Investigation.
The head of state also recalled that a number of bills and government resolutions had been adopted to improve the efficiency of law enforcement agencies and intensify the fight against corruption.
In addition, Zelensky stressed the importance of pursuing the "real" reform of the judicial system.
