President appoints acting head of Kherson Regional State Administration

President Volodymyr Zelensky has appointed Serhiy Kozyr as acting head of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

The relevant decree on the appointment, No.530/2020, was published on the president’s website on December 3, Ukrinform reports.

Under another decree, No.529/2020, the president dismissed Yuriy Husev as head of the Kherson Regional State Administration due to his appointment to the post of director general of the State Concern Ukroboronprom on December 3.

As reported by Ukrinform, Yuriy Husev served as deputy defense minister of Ukraine in 2014-2016. From July 2019, he had headed the Kherson Regional State Administration.

Serhiy Kozyr became deputy head of the Kherson Regional State Administration in September 2019. He was responsible for the issues of regional development, infrastructure and ecology.
