Zelensky opens forum 'Ukraine 30. National Security'
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has opened the All-Ukrainian Forum "Ukraine 30. National Security," which is devoted to discussing the strategy for the defense of the state.
"How the State takes care of security today; how the national security system will transform in a couple of years; what the state of the Ukrainian Army, National Guard of Ukraine, Security Service, National Police, State Border Guard Service is now and how these institutions should change; what has been done in the fields of information security and the development of the defense industry; what reforms Ukraine will introduce and what steps it will take for NATO membership―all these matters will be discussed by state officials, local and international experts, members of the public and the diplomatic corps at the All-Ukrainian Forum 'Ukraine 30. National Security' on May 11-13, 2021," reads a statement posted on the website of the forum.
Head of the President's Office Andriy Yermak, Head of the NATO Representation to Ukraine Alexander Vinnikov, U.S. Chargé d'Affaires in Ukraine Kristina Kvien, EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas, Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine Oleksiy Danilov, Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Ivan Bakanov, and Interior Minister Arsen Avakov will also participate in the forum.
