Stepanov dismissed as Ukraine's health minister
The Verkhovna Rada has dismissed Maksym Stepanov as Ukraine's health minister.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, 292 MPs voted for a respective decision at an extraordinary parliament meeting on Tuesday, May 18.
On May 14, the Ukrainian parliament received a motion from the prime minister for the dismissal of Health Minister Maksym Stepanov.
The Verkhovna Rada committee on the nation's health, medical care and health insurance did not support the prime minister's proposal to dismiss Stepanov.
The committee recommended that the Verkhovna Rada vote on Stepanov's dismissal from the post of health minister.
