President wants to build country without oligarchs
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has said that he wants to build a country of dreams, without oligarchs, where everyone will be equal before the law.
He said this at a press conference about his two years in office in Kyiv on Thursday, May 20, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"What are we going to do? We will think and build the future. We will build our independence, we will build our Ukraine. The question is to really build a country of dreams, to raise our country to new heights, just like an Antonov rises, so that it stays on top among other powerful countries. Therefore, my vision is clear. We will build our country, and this is what we are doing now. We will build, complete, and sometimes we will start new industries from scratch," Zelensky said.
According to him, the number one priority on this path is to build a country without oligarchs. He said that the public had already seen the first results.
Zelensky said that the Ukrainian authorities were building a state where everyone will be equal before the law.
