Ukrainian president to visit Moldova on Aug 27

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will take part in celebrations marking the 30th anniversary of Moldova's independence on August 27, the Moldovan news site point.md has reported, citing the Moldovan presidential administration.

According to the report, the administration added that Romanian President Klaus Iohannis and Polish President Andrzej Duda would also visit Chisinau on Friday.

The three heads of state, together with Moldovan President Maia Sandu, will take part in celebrations on the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau on the occasion of three decades of Moldova's independence.

Several bilateral meetings and a multilateral meeting of the four presidents will be held. Press statements will be made.

Moldova celebrates Independence Day annually on August 27.
