Government sacks head of State Emergency Service
The Cabinet of Ministers has dismissed Mykola Chechotkin as head of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, appointing Serhiy Kruk as acting head of the service.
The decision to that effect was made at a government meeting on Wednesday, November 10, the government's representative in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk, wrote on Telegram.
According to him, Farid Safarov was appointed Deputy Minister of Energy for Digital Development, Digital Transformations and Digitization, and Artem Ripenko was appointed Head of the State Agency for Land Reclamation and Fisheries of Ukraine.
The Cabinet of Ministers also appointed Natalia Kuchma as head of Kosiv District State Administration in Ivano-Frankivsk region, Vasyl Senchuk as head of Vyshgorod District State Administration in Kyiv region, Viktor Petrenko as head of Holovanivsk District State Administration in Kirovohrad region, Oleksandr Dubchenko as head of Novoukrainska District State Administration in Kirovohrad region, and Oleksandr Selivon as head of Chernihiv District State Administration in Chernihiv region.
Vadym Sozonyk was appointed deputy head of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration and Zhanna Osypenko was named deputy head of Kyiv Regional State Administration.
Chechotkin was appointed head of the State Emergency Service on May 14, 2015.
Since October 2014, Kruk has held the position of head of the main directorate of the State Emergency Service in Rivne region.
